All three states rank very low in most measures of well-being as the table below indicates. The ranking columns show where the states rank out of the 50 US states. A smaller number represents a better rank. So a state that ranks 1 is the best and a rank of 50 is the worst. The "Worse than US" columns mean the state score is worse than the US average score. It means that the state is in the lower half of scores for the country. From this analysis, it is overwhelmingly clear that our well-being could be significantly better in almost every category for every state.
